Flying without wings…

A unique concept in the Indian Ocean, situated in Mauritius, in ecotourism, are Ziplines allowing people to fly over a river, trees, rocks and discover its fauna, its flora and landscapes... Adults and children are surprisingly taken by the excitement and adrenaline that comes naturally when you start flying for the first time. This, thanks to a succession of zip-lines which makes you fly over the river “Rivière des Galets” with cables varying in length, height and speed... Every zip-line allows you to discover a unique landscape. The shortest zip-line is 60 meters while the longest is 250 meters. Altitudes vary from 20 meters to 40 meters but all zip-lines offers different sensations depending on their positioning.  

Mid-way through the circuit, you can stop for a refreshing swim in the river, swim under the waterfall and dive from the top of rocks in a natural pool. At the end, a traditional Mauritian meal awaits you at the guest house of Chazal. 

The Royal Raid 8-9 May 2010

The Royal Raid is a fantastic yearly mountain (trail) running being held in Mauritius. It’s an adventure full of warmth which will lead you through the heart of the island and make you discover unforgettable tropical sceneries while sharing emotion and passion in a wonderful friendly atmosphere! There is a 35km and an 80km race that takes place simultaneously.
